The pricing of our services depends on the size of your move,the number of staff required,the trucks involved and destinaion.However,we usaually do it in Local Moves and Long Distance moves.You can call our sales representative any time for a free estimate and current offers and discounts before they gets expired.
LOCAL MOVES
For Local Residential and Office moves,we charge on an hourly basis.The estimated Moving time for local moves are:
1 Bedroom apartment-----Just 2-3 hours.
2 Bedroom condo---------Just 3-5 hours.
3 Bedroom House---------Just 5-8 hours.
*The above estimates are only averages and may vary depending upon the actual size of the house,weather conditions,traffic and the organisation of the goods to be moved on customer's part.
Also access to the residence plays a vital role in determining the moving estimates.
For Local Residential and Office moves within edmonton there is a minimum charge and an additional one hour charge for travel time at the contracted rate unless otherwise stated.As we mentioned it earlier that we might not be the CHEAPEST in the city but cheapest is not the best option all the time.There are so many things like courteous customer service,new and effective ideas and reasonable prices,that makes us different from our competitors.
WHY WE CHARGE MINIMUM AND TRAVEL TIME
Our men are paid a minimum of 3 hours and an additional hour of travel time no matter how short their shift is.It is our responsibility to ensure that we pay our men properly.We can't have a good man come to work and only pay him an hour because the job only took an hour.And we can't maintain our moving services or standards if we hold trucks for a half day and only earn 2 hours work.And also travel time charge covers the cost of the staff travelling to the place of origin and back to the office from the destination.These charges will be more when travelling to or from outlying cities or towns.Guaranted your move may take less time but our service is worth it.
LONG DISTANCE MOVES
We consider any move that starts or ends more than 50 kilometer from edmonton city centre to be a long distance move.Pricing for these moves is different from the local moves.Its based on an hourly rate for loading the content on to the truck and then unloading at the destination plus a charge for travel time.The charge for travel time of a long distance move is calculated at a rate per kilometer one way.But that totally depends upon the number of staff reqired and the trucks involved.
Charging for travel time in this manner allows customers to better predict the cost of the move as they don't have to worry about how long the drive will take.Poor weather conditions,accidents and detours causing delays will not affect the customer when paying by the kilometer.
METHOD OF PAYMENTS
Some customers prefer to prepay their shipments at origin.This is generally done where the customer will not be available at the destination.The driver is required to collect the payment for your moving charges before your shipment can be unloaded unless prior credit arrangements have been made.You can pay us by cash,certified cheque or money order but for your added convenience we also accept payment by Visa or mastercard.Your company is paying for your move,no problem we will deal will them.
